Last Sunday, Helm sponsored CHANGE Church's annual Giving Christmas event at the Story Factory! Parents in our community were able to experience a FREE toy shopping and wrapping experience while children got their photos taken with Santa and enjoyed the magic of the holiday season. We are so thankful for everyone who helped us spread some holiday joy to our community this season!

Last month, the Hey Girl! Conference was held at our home in The Story Factory for the second year! Hey Girl Conference conference creates a space for women to connect, find a sense of community, and support one another. We are so proud to be able to support the amazing impact that the Hey Girl conference is making on the women in our city of Philadelphia!

Our President and Founder, Ashlee Hollis, received a silver Stevie Award, as a part of the American Business awards, in recognition of an individual executive or manager who’s affected the most positive change on his or her company and/or industry since 2022. As the premier business program awards in the U.S.A., the American Business Awards are open to all organizations, public and private, for-profit or non-profit, large or small. Ashlee shares the national silver distinction with only two other business leaders, and only six other business leaders in the category, as a whole. While we care more about our clients than our accolades, we do appreciate the recognition we receive from our peers, as it builds trust from those we serve. Congrats to our President and Founder, for the thought leadership of human connection and valuing people over production that’s transforming our industry, and for creating a culture and building a crew that’s tangibly impacting the world, one story at a time.

Today is National Mural Day! Our home at the Story Factory features an incredible mural created by Alloyius McIlwaine that truly captures the vision and heart of Helm and our intentions for our space. The Story Factory is a place where creatives find a haven and creativity finds a home. Thank you Alloyius, and the brilliant collaborating artists, for helping us bring the Story Factory to life with this amazing mural.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals, honoring the messengers and creators of the information revolution, and recognizing that the winners bring their ideas to life through traditional and digital platforms. Judging is for the evaluation of the creative industry’s best publications, branding collateral, websites, videos, and advertising, marketing, and communication programs. Through our multi-media campaign of “Being Human in an AI World,” Helm was evaluated as a Gold winner for one of our videos, completely created in-house by our team, from writing to editing both behind and in front of the camera, emphasizing the importance of human creativity and valuing people over production. As the creative industry becomes saturated with AI, we’re evicting it from our creative process and supporting and championing the art of human storytelling.
We’re so honored to continue to do our best to ensure our clients and creatives experience the best storytelling process possible. And with our Storytelling for Humans event coming up on May 21, this is the BEST time to connect with our creative crew at Helm.
