Anyway, I made this seafood scampi at 12am because I felt like it. When he got home from work in the middle of the night, he was so hype. That’s the part that brings me the most joy. I love feeding him! 💍👩🏽‍🍳😏

Y’all know I take a lot of pride in making ’s plate. I love seeing his face when I present his meal to him because for one, he’s an excellent husband, provider, and father to our children, and for two, it’s my way of showing him daily that he is appreciated ❤️. Last night, I made lambchops, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and string beans, and he finished his plate in 1.2 seconds. 💍🖤👩🏽‍🍳

Just like me, all 3 of my kids LOVE to cook! So, during the holiday break, Jolie and Joshua decided that they wanted to do a Chopped inspired challenge, and I was the judge. It was sooooo hard to judge my babies because they both did amazing! 💕🖤

Over Easy Eggs 🍳

So y’all know these kids are on virtual which means I’m in here cooking all day, and there’s nothing better than a hot breakfast. My whole household loves their eggs over easy, so this is my shortcut way to get them done fast, and not have to worry about actually flipping the egg over. The flip always gives me anxiety anyway. 😩 I learned this “technique” while watching years ago, and haven’t looked back since. So if you like your eggs the same way, try it! It doesn’t get any easier than this! ❤️

These beef short ribs were so easy to make for my family, and they loved them!!! I only used 3 ingredients to season them. The tenderness… chhhiiiilllldddd… let me just tell you what you need to recreate. 👩🏽‍🍳

- 15 Minute Bourbon Marinade
- Oxtail Seasoning Sauce
- Bourbon Brown Sugar Seasoning

Growing up, we always ate black eyed peas, greens, and cornbread to celebrate the New Year. This crockpot recipe is sooo easy. You don’t have to soak your beans or anything. Simply set it and forget it. Below is what you will need. ✨

- 1 bag of black eyed peas
- 1 package of turkey tails
- 1 onion
- Seasonings (Adobo, Seasoned Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, and Garlic Powder)
- Jasmine Rice

After sharing snippets on my story about Jolie’s recent audiology appointment, my inbox was flooded with questions and positive comments. So, Jolie decided to share in her own words her journey. She was diagnosed with progressive hearing loss about 2 years ago, and has been confident throughout her process. I’m so proud of her. ✨ She truly encouraged me and when it was hard for us to even talk about. Her biggest thing is that she wants other kids to know that being different is what makes them special. She’s an inspiration. 💕💜
