I’m not going to comment publicly on what’s happening with East vs. West or CoreSports/KOTT. I’ll just say this:
Now more than ever, it’s important for promoters to support one another. If things can unravel at the top levels of the sport, they can just as easily fall apart at every level—and in many ways, they already have. The only way to prevent further damage is to focus on building a strong foundation from the bottom up. You don’t build a house from the roof down—you start down here in the dirt.
That said, I’m proud to be part of American Unified Armwrestling (AUA), proud to be part of 98 Armwrestling, and proud to stand alongside promoters I call friends—because if we’re friends, it’s because I believe in you and I believe in the future of this sport.
It’s time we stop working against each other. Every event, every community, every athlete deserves better. Let’s give them better. Let’s give them a community of promoters who genuinely care—not just about the spotlight, but about the people holding this sport together.
We will continue to work with those who share that vision. We can all do better. We can all grow and create instead of destroy. It's on us. Let's gooo... 98!!
