In stock now! (PN 98-431) 1999-2006 hydraulic chain conversion kits for Twin Cam. This kit comes with everything needed to convert early Twin Cam engines to the more reliable hydraulic chain tensioners.
Includes billet cam support plate and billet oil pump. DOES NOT INCLUDE CAM SHAFTS. CONVERSION CAM SHAFTS MUST BE USED. A variety of Andrews conversion cams are available through your Ultima dealer.

The start to building bullet proof crankshafts is using high quality connecting rods. All Ultima crankshaft assemblies utilize lightweight 4340 H-beam rods. Wrist pin bushings and races are honed to size in house to insure exact tolerances are met.

All of our cylinders are diamond honed, plateau finished and held to very tight tolerances. Ultima evo and twin cam cylinders feature cast in liners. Boring and honing services are available for Ultima and other v-twin cylinders. Contact your Ultima dealer for details.

Ultima forged roller rocker arms offer exceptional quality at a great price. These same rockers are used in all of our evo and twin cam engines. Made of 4140 steel forgings, bronze bushings with roller tips. These are are a perfect replacement for oem rockers. 1.675 ratio for increased lift. PN 91-699

The Ultima adjustable speed rods are tough as nails. Locally manufactured 15 minutes from our facility. Made with high quality 4140 steel tube and 8620 steel tips and adjusters. Available for shovelhead, evo and twin cam applications. Evo and twin cam available as a complete kit with chrome or powder coat black pushrod tubes. Evo pushrods come in standard, +.200" and +.500" lengths.

So pretty it's a shame they are never seen. Both, the three piece and the original five piece crankshaft Ultima shovel head engines are assembled with forged pistons from another industry leading manufacturer, Ross Racing.

From top fuel dragsters to professional circle track racing Mahle manufactures some of the highest quality pistons on the market. Over sized piston sets are available in +.005", .010", .020" and .030" over.

All Ultima cylinder heads come with manual compression releases and manganese bronze valve guides. Components from manufacturers such as Ferrera, Pac Racing, Cometic, AV&V and Manley are used to make a very high quality and reliable cylinder head assembly.

It's no secret that the late model twin cam sprocket shafts are prone to bending, flexing and twisting. NOT WITH OURS! The Ultima sprocket shafts have proven to be 40% stronger than OEM in an independent test.

Ultima Machine Shop: Honing Cylinders

All cylinders at Ultima are honed to size with diamond stones and plateau finished. We keep extremely tight tolerances. Our cylinders are honed with in .0001” of the allowed piston clearance. We also offer cylinder honing services for HD and many other v-twin cylinders. See your Ultima dealer for details.
