What is Workforce Housing?
The housing crisis in New Hampshire affects everyone. We collaborated with ConVal students to help inform the community about what workforce housing is. The play was adapted and directed by ConVal student Benjamin Michaud and is based on the comic “What is workforce housing?” created for New Hampshire Housing .
ADU Virtual Tour
According to 99% of housing scientists, the housing crisis is real. We are setting out to help do our part in tackling the situation. ADUs, or accessory dwelling units, are a second smaller dwelling on a property that has sleeping, cooking and eating space, and a bathroom. They can be either attached or detached.
Peterborough has had ADU regulations in place since 1991, and only 21 ADUs have been built to date. In this virtual tour, Director of Planning & Building Danica Melone, takes us around town to check out some of Peterborough’s ADUs.
How do you feel about ADUs in your neighborhood? What about adding one to your property?

GMC Gala 2024
A 10-second glimpse into the food, people, and magic (or illusion?) at the Greater Monadnock Collaborative - regional chamber of commerce gala this past Thursday evening. It was a great night meeting people and learning about all the great work people are doing in our region.
Had a lot of fun last Friday (First Friday) at the Peterborough Town Library opening reception of “Astonishing Moments in Nearby Nature” by Craig Altobello, and at The Monadnock Center for History and Culture for the opening of the 21st Season of MacDowell Downtown. And, had nice stroll in Depot Square :).
#businessesofpeterborough TWIST! We stopped in to check out this new business on Main Street and try their signature dessert - gelati! A swirl of Italian ice and soft serve ice cream. It’s a treat to have ice cream downtown again :). Thankful to have this addition to our community!
