Wilson Street Records Independent record label based in the San Francisco North Bay music scene

The mission is to empower artists within our vibrant North Bay music scene to achieve greater success by investing in projects full of potential but have trouble producing and marketing their music alone. The goal is to create lasting partnerships with artists through transparency, mutual benefit/agreement, and by providing the strategic backend business support that can be a challenge for artists

to learn and employ on their own. We hope to one day see a community of artists within the Wilson Street Records network that work together to enrich our local music scene and provide support for the mutual goal of creating music as a sustainable and lasting career.

We ended up with a whimsical alt rock tune about love and all the little things in life feeding the soul that I'm actually pretty proud of. A mustachioed bad dad joker on vacation and a gothic cello player turned front woman just released their first song "Pink Flamingos" with their new indie garage rock project TMFT.

With the nonsensical nature reminiscent of a Wes Anderson movie from a dark alternate universe and a sound that somehow feels like the 90s, TMFT's foray into the musical universe paves the road for dead pan humor and a chaotic romanticization of 90s alt rock.

Some albums are recorded all in one go and some take a lifetime.

This is the case with Oneto - Artist's upcoming album Strange anyways. These six songs, whose writing spans from 2020 to Paul's teenage years, are all connected through their stories of navigating the noise of inner dialogue to discover the strange corners of your mind. The upcoming single "Equinox" does this well and captures Paul's haunting blend of and perfectly as it explores the ideas of past and future from the view of life’s midpoint. Stoked for you to hear the single this Friday and the rest of the Strange EP on Feb. 17th.

Who remembers the scene that immortalized Jeremy Ferrick's song "Comatose" back in 1989? Well... maybe it didn't actually happen that way but it definitely could have. Tucked away in a dusty studio on a warm Los Angeles night in 2007, The King of Lofi tapped into a post punk/new wave sound and created a song that would be at home on any 80s romance movie soundtrack.

"Comatose", a song that would be at home on any early 90's romance movie soundtrack, was produced in 4 hours during a midnight recording session in a dusty LA studio in 2007. It has now found it's way into an official release with Wilson Street Records this Friday, September 30th.
