Happy Monday, it's time for the Illini State Bank THROWBACK TRACK OF THE DAY!

Today's track was the second single released for Meghan Trainor's second studio album Thank You, it's "Me Too"!

A self-love anthem, Trainor had some help writing this one from a few producers, and most notably Jason Derulo. This track debuted at #39 on the Billboard Hot 100, amd after 11 weeks on the chart it hit its peak at the #13 spot. This song was involved in a couple "almost-controversies" with Trainor accidentally falling during her performance on The Tonight Show and people accusing her of staging it for a marketing stunt, as well as someone digitally editing the video to make Trainor look thinner before posting it, going against the artist's wishes and words in her previous hit "All About That Bass". The unedited video was reposted the same day, and Trainor addressed her fans through social media to explain the debacle.

Happy Friday, it's time for the Illini State Bank THROWBACK TRACK OF THE DAY!

Today's track comes from the 1992 album Mack Daddy, it's the Sir Mix-a-Lot hit "Baby Got Back"!

A song that was initially banned on MTV due to objections on the content of the song, Sir Mix-a-Lot defended his work as being "empowering to curvaceous women who were being shown skinny models as an ideal for beauty." The song flew to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, was the second best-selling song in the US that year, and in 2008 was ranked #17 on VH1's "100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop" list.

Happy Thursday, it's time for the Illini State Bank THROWBACK TRACK OF THE DAY!

Today's track was the second single from Nicki Minaj's third studio album The Pink Print, it's "Anaconda"!

Originally produced by Polow da Don for Missy Elliot but eventually scrapped and given to Minaj to re-record, "Anaconda" broke the 24-hour streaming record with 19.6 million views on its music video's first day of release. It also shot up the charts, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart.

Today's track comes from Akon's 2006 album Konvicted, it's the joint venture from Akon and Eminem "Smack That"!

The lead single on the Konvicted album, Snack That was born out of a chance meeting between the two artists at a recording session with Obie Trice, a Shady Records-signed artist. They eventually put the song together and it shot to the top of the charts, topping out at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and hitting the peak of multiple other charts.

Hennepin, DePue, Bureau Junction, Putnam, Hollowayville, and Coal Hollow around 830 PM CDT. Spring Valley, Granville, Ladd, Mark, Seatonville, Ottville, and Florid around 835 PM CDT.
