Meet Delaney! Delaney is a Junior Sports Communication major with minors in Social Media Marketing and Public Relations & Advertising. She currently serves as the President and Founder of the Bradley Chapter of Girls Club, an organization focused on creating opportunities for women in the field of sports. Giles is the Vice President of Communications & Operations for her sorority, Sigma Kappa, & serves as the Social Media & Public Relations Director for Bradley University’s Hockey team. She also works as an intern for Bradley University’s Athletic Department. She is from Belleville, IL.

Meet Avishi! Avishi is a freshmen here at Bradley majoring in Journalism. A fun fact is that she is an international student from Nepal 🇳🇵. She is a very active person, enjoying activities such as paragliding, bungee jumping, rafting, and even zip lining. Meet Abdiel! Abdiel Ramirez is a freshmen at Bradley with a major in Sports Communication and minors in Spanish + Music Industry. He participates in the speech and debate team + works with Braves Vision on campus. He has a vast array of experience in the field of commentation and looks forward to blending spots and media together. Catch him on air!

Mylie Sims is a freshmen sports communication major and she loves getting involved on Bradley's campus. She has previous experience with sports broadcasting and content creation for a multitude of years in high school under the "TommyTv". She is ready for this semester and looks forward to gaining experience in the field.

Rachel Hobbs is a senior English Secondary Education major. Hobbs is a member of Kappa Delta and the Vice President of Get Big Stay Big. Since childhood, she always loved watching Andy Avalos on NBC 5 Chicago, and in high school, Hobbs was a proud member of the weather club as their Vice President. Each morning, she helped start the school day by providing the weather announcements. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks, playing basketball, and listening to music.

Mia Massaro is a first-year Communications major from Chicago, IL, with a strong background in broadcasting and theater. In high school, she was an officer in both the Broadcasters Club and Drama Club, participating in all theater productions and various activities. As a Student Ambassador, she helped incoming students adjust to high school life. Now, as a member of the Honors Program at Bradley, she is excited to bring that experience to BUTV, where she is enjoying her role as an anchor and looking forward to a dynamic semester of reporting.

Did you know? BUTV News is a service of the Bradley University Department of Communication, originating from the John C. Hench Production Art Studios in the Caterpillar Global Communications Center on Bradley’s campus. The program is produced entirely by students in advanced classes in the Media Production major. Volunteer crew members and on-camera talent help make our show possible every semester. If you’re a Bradley student interested in volunteering or trying out, come to the television studio in the GCC on the first day of classes, any semester, at 6pm.
