90.7 WAZU FM Peoria is Peoria's ONLY Pacifica Radio Affiliate. For seven years we have been attempting to reach Peoria with Educated, Community Minded, Social Justice Oriented Programming. Mission Statement:
Listeners will discover music, news reports, opinions and esoterica in an array of styles and languages filling needs that other media do not, providing programming to diverse communities and

unserved or under served groups. WAZU is envisioned to be representative of the whole community and must be a democratically run organization. WAZU-FM 90.7 is a grassroots counter to the homogenizing effects of media consolidation with hitherto unheard voices and niche programming tailored to the community.
