Hey all! We've had some people ask if we're planning another trip to take supplies down to TN/NC and there is still a need so we are planning another trip! My brother is a paramedic & firefighter for the city of Pigeon Forge and has been coordinating with a large church in Sevierville and running deliveries with the Cajun Navy to the smaller towns who are getting road access to. The needs are changing now that basic necessities are thankfully covered at the moment and the cold weather has started moving in.
Below are the list of supplies he has stated are highest priority.
-Sleeping Bags
-Non Electric heaters (second best option after generators)
-GENERATORS (3500 watt and up) He stated these are the most needed as they're running buildings that are housing a lot of the families whose homes were destroyed. (I will be pooling any funds I'm given to try to buy at least one generator, multiple if I'm able. If not I'll split funds I'm sent to buy a few of each of the other items)
-Bar and Chain Oil
-2 cycle oil
Please let me know if you have any questions! We'll need everything brought to us by Friday Oct 25th as we'll be taking everything to him that weekend.
Thank you to those who donated for our previous haul, it was a big one and it went straight to a town they had just taken only pallets of water to the day before.
