Crazy how the sands of time just slips away between our fingers, as we focus on the stupid stuff that doesn't matter at all. Yet that which matters silently fades away, as it dissipates into the void of nothing.
Chase that dream they say, chase that money, those expensive cars, that title and those frivolous trinkets that define us not. While that which defines us has already came and went. What matters is the here and now, this moment not tomorrow nor yesterday.
Rebuilt those burned bridges, forgive those who have done you wrong. Move forward with a clean slate and make each moment from this day forward mean something. Because the burden you carry, the weight that rides upon your shoulder does nothing but hold you back as it pauses momentum.
Do not go quietly into the dark being proud of that which meant little, but rather go loudly into the light knowing that your life had purpose, your existence had meaning, and that YOU made a difference in the lives of others.
Because in the end everything that you are busting your ass off will eventually belong to someone else who won't love it like you. After all, you surely cannot take anything with you. Yet, you can leave beautiful and positive memories that will forevermore be etched into the fabric of existence.
