I'm excited! I've got a new artist I'm working with, and she's getting the concept for my first story! I gotta show you a sneak peek at the character she's been working on in the first stages for Anansi. Btw, this image was filtered afterwards by me, because I liked the color tone on him.
This was the first image she drew that captured Anansi with a little bit of a slickster look. I wanted him in a top hat, and sportin' a vest, because he thinks himself a gentleman, and in this story, he's a bit confused about the manners of people.
I think it's cute, but everything she's drawing thus far is really cute, and makes me laugh because it fits the images I described to her for the story, and since the story is funny...the images must compliment that. I can't wait to put this all together for you all! It's going to be great fun for you to hear the audio, which is what I will be working on next, but when you put it all together, it's a lot of laughs. Stay tuned!

I had to stop and say thank you to everyone who has chosen to join us on this page and follow. I so appreciate you! I have been going through some serious challenges, which I will elaborate on, on our membership site. I've been away from my computer for several weeks, dealing with a family situation. It has required my constant attention and total focus, so I have been unable to attend to the network at the moment, and for several weeks, despite my best efforts to refocus my attention long enough to address it. Nevertheless, I really appreciate the fact that you are all here. It surprised me, but pleased me greatly to come back and see all of you here. GB.
