For Pelion PD's this week's edition of we talk about golf carts. Remember that golf carts can only be operated on roads that are 35 mph or less and not on US or SC primary highways which in Pelion means Pine St (SC302) and Main St (US178). We have recently worked with our partners at the SCDOT to lower speed limits to allow for more access to our town. The streets highlighted green on the map are where golf carts are allowed. My son-in-law had his 2nd surgery today. Dr says he will always have arthritis and stiffness in that ankle. There's a slight possibility they may still need to amputate the foot and put him on a prosthetic to eliminate pain. Please pray for his healing, but don't forget Abby. Being a wife and mother while all this is happening is very difficult.
