...and the murals just keep on coming!

Scott Hagan, known as The Barn Artist, is currently painting a mural of Ulysses S. Grant on a barn on S.R. 125 coming into Georgetown commissioned by Ohio History Connection! There will be a dedication July 17 at 4 PM.

If you've never been, make it a point to visit this amazing promontory with a spectacular view of the Ohio River and the hills of Kentucky. Unforgettable.

Next time you are traveling Rt. 52 along the Ohio River in County, be sure to check out the John Rankin House Historic Site, located in Ripley. It is one of the best-documented Underground Railroad “stations” in the state, which makes it a must-see on 's -Z virtual tour. Between 1825 and 1865, more than 2,000 slaves seeking freedom stayed at this house, sometimes as many as 12 at a time. In 2019, The Rankin House was recognized at the annual Appalachia Luncheon for sharing this home's historical significance with visitors.
