Yesterday was a full day of networking and great conversations!

I started the day at the PAMF luncheon at Golfcrest Country Club, where I got to hear valuable updates from HAR and connect with amazing real estate friends and associates. It’s always great to stay informed and collaborate with those shaping the industry!

Then, I switched gears in the evening and attended NAPE, one of the biggest gatherings for the oil and gas industry. It was an incredible opportunity to meet new professionals, discuss business opportunities, and gain insights into another powerhouse industry.

Grateful for days like these that expand my network and open new doors!

Church was spot on today!
God Provides

Matthew 6:26 says, “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”

This verse is such a powerful reminder to trust God’s provision. Birds don’t stress over where their food or shelter will come from because they know God will provide—and He always does.

As a real estate professional, uncertainty is part of the job. We don’t always know where the next client will come from or when the next closing will happen. But just as God cares for the birds, He cares for us even more.

When we seek His kingdom first and trust His plan, we can let go of worry and have faith that He will provide exactly what we need, right on time.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” – Matthew 6:34

Television shows often glamorize real estate, making it seem like a breeze. The reality? It’s far from simple.

For example, we recently represented a seller whose transaction was plagued by delays caused by an unprofessional and unethical lender. These delays cost the buyer valuable time and money, but we remained diligent in protecting our seller’s best interests. With every contract extension, we renegotiated terms to ensure the seller was compensated for the inconvenience.

While hiccups can occur in any transaction, dealing with unresponsive lenders or underwriters shouldn’t be the norm. This situation highlights the importance of choosing not only the right realtor but also a reliable lender. The lender you work with can make or break your transaction.

Todays message was so good!

Life brings sadness, struggles, and loss, but the happiness this world offers is short-lived. True and lasting joy comes from within—by hearing the Good News of great joy: Jesus (Luke 2:8-20).

We choose joy by:

1. Hearing the Good News and letting our faith lead to action.
2. Making Him known and sharing His light.
3. Returning to Him with a renewed focus.

Psalm 27:13-14 reminds us to trust in God’s goodness:
“I believe I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take courage.”

Even in hard times, I’m choosing to trust Him, as Job did: “Though He slay me, I will still trust Him.”

Let’s hold on to the promise to “always be joyful” (1 Thessalonians), knowing joy is a choice rooted in faith.

Had a great time at the State of the City event in Manvel. It was great hearing from Mayor Dan Davis and City Manager Dan Johnson about the growth and development happening right here in our community.

Manvel has already welcomed game-changers like the new H-E-B and the long-awaited Whataburger (which many were so excited for) Plus, there are some amazing master-planned communities shaping our future, including Valencia, Pomona, Meridiana, Rodeo Palms, and Del Bello Lakes still actively building and selling homes.

Big projects are also underway with a state-of-the-art police department and public works building under construction, and improvements to many of our roads are on the agenda too.

It’s truly a perfect time to consider moving your family or business to Manvel, where we’re embracing growth while keeping our suburban and rural roots strong. 🌳🏘️
