Thank you to the Peabody Cultural Council for sponsoring this past weekend’s Kids' Songwriting Workshop at Maritime! We had a blast creating music with a group of creative kids from Brown Elementary school. Check out a clip of their awesome Taylor Swift-inspired song -- they came up with the idea, wrote the lyrics and recorded the demo all in one two-hour session.

ATTENTION MUSICAL PEABODY RESIDENTS!

We have received a Peabody Cultural Council grant to offer free Intro to Songwriting Workshops at Maritime Music Studio on March 30th for Peabody residents.

In this intensive introductory crash course, we'll cover song structure, writing lyrics, laying down a backing track, and recording a demo. You'll be introduced to the basics of song structure, music theory, and producing and recording in Logic Pro - everything you need to start making music on your own. This is a beginner-friendly course - no previous music experience required!

We have limited availability - only 10 spots left in total. We have a workshop for Teens (14-18) at 12pm, and a workshop for Adults at 5pm.
