Oregon, Idaho and Washington will get funding to prevent wildfires, and keep communities safe. Find out how much each state will receive:



On Tuesday, Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that the Collaborative Wildfire Risk Reduction Program has been expanded, benefiting the three Northwest states.

This technology started with two counties.  And now Oregon is looking at taking is statewide.

Vilsack says if lawmakers don't start working together, getting a Farm Bill passed by the end of 2024 will be very difficult.



Vilsack said if lawmakers cannot compromise on a practical Farm Bill, then lawmakers will have a hard time to get something passed by the end of the year.

Patrick DeHaan with GasBuddy says while lower fuel prices are nice for consumers, he has concerns about WHY oil prices are dropping.



Oil prices continue the downward slide, falling to the lowest levels since 2021. Patrick DeHaan with Gasbuddy.com said prices are now below $70 per barrel for West Texas Crude.
