I’m not shy about bragging about about my 2 billion Spotify plays and my millions of plays elsewhere. but I wanted to take a minute to spotlight one band. has 67000 plays on YouTube in under a month. That’s 67000 plays that get added to my 2 billion plays. Did this happen over night and out of nowhere? Absolutely not. The band has not compromised on what they envisioned. And completely self promoted. The three of us has raised our voices at each other and fought hard to make sure the essence of this project would remain true to what the band wanted. I couldn’t be prouder of the work they have put into it outside the many studio hours we have spent together. I have the luxury of going home at the end of the day. But the band didn’t and does not. This is what hard work looks like this is what the beginning of making it looks like. Nothing has been handed to them. Even this video is an example of D.I.Y and again I couldn’t be prouder of the hard work they have been putting in outside of the studio. It’s harder now than ever to be heard and in between madness and dedication to your art results happen. Also thank you for letting me be a part of this. I’m very honored to be in the same room with you both.

I’ll start this by saying this isn’t a post about audio or a plug for working at the pie (which obviously you should). That said a lot have been happening in the world and a lot has been happening in America. Yesterday and I went took our free day together to explore dtla and get an unbiased look at our fair city. These are the photos we captured. Nowhere did we experience mobs of people looting or violence of any kind. We saw barricades around police buildings and every business boarded up. The city was quiet the streets were empty. I went to little Tokyo because I have many fond memories with a friend who isn’t able to see what has become of her favorite stomping grounds. So this post is for her. We experienced nothing broken, nothing looted, and not a single act of violence. We only saw small businesses that have been shut down by a curfew that really only hurts them for no reason. We went to the library. It was as beautiful as ever. It closes at seven now due to the curfew that should not be in effect. I guess I’m asking everyone to go back to dtla. Show your support for the protests by showing up and shopping there again. Los Angeles is the greatest city on earth and it is great because we don’t tolerate hate. We celebrate diversity, we celebrate cultures and that is what makes America amazing. I am thankful to have been born here and I think everyone deserves a shot at the American dream. For all those that peacefully protested along my side, I have maybe never been prouder to be an American. We can’t allow hate in America and we won’t tolerate hate in America. I’m going to get off my high horse now. Now go be better than you already were.
