🥁 In Loving Memory of David Bruce 🥁

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend and GIO Cymbals Endorsed Artist, David Bruce, who left us on New Year’s Eve after a brave battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease). 🌹

David was not only a phenomenal drummer but also an Army Combat Medic Veteran, a Taekwondo Grandmaster, and Instructor. His dedication and passion for both music and serving others were truly remarkable.

Beyond his incredible talent, David’s spirit and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. Even in the face of adversity, he continued to inspire with his unwavering strength and resilience.

In honor of his love for drumming, David had a tiny replica drumset made when he could no longer play the drums—a testament to his indomitable spirit.

Let’s remember and celebrate the extraordinary life of this remarkable soul. Rest in peace, dear David. Your legacy will continue to resonate through the beats of our hearts. 🥁💔

After many prototypes and years of research and development, our new series is finally perfected and available to the public. This series of GIO Cymbals are Dry sounding with the perfect amount of extra edginess Authority desired by professional drummers and sound engineers worldwide. Happy Memorial Day - the day we all remember those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country and honor these brave soldiers who fought to defend our freedoms with their lives.

This Memorial Day we want to celebrate all those who deserve praise and also make a special point to honor one of our own, GIO Cymbals Endorsed Artist Matthew Strunk of Des Moines, Iowa. Matt was a fantastic drummer and a great person who fought overseas for all of us to remain free. Very unfortunately he suffered from severe PTSD from his experience and ultimately took his own life in January after his long battle with the associated depression.

22 Veterans with PTSD commit su***de every day. Please reach out to anyone you think may need help.

We salute all our fallen patriots and will never forget you! Rest In Peace and may God Bless You!
