What's a better way to celebrate President's Day than to take a trip to a Presidential Library and Museum? The federal holiday was originally a celebration of George Washington’s birthday, on Feb. 11, but many state governments also added Abraham Lincoln’s birthday, Feb. 12, to the celebration. In 1971, Congress moved the holiday to the third Monday of February so everyone could have a long weekend.
