The city's water department is working tirelessly to restore water service to the community after a significant disruption. As crews labor to bring the system back online, residents are beginning to see improvements, with water supply gradually increasing across different areas. However, many may still experience low pressure as the system stabilizes.

Two water towers, which had been completely depleted, are now slowly refilling as technicians work to increase pressure in the supply lines. This process is crucial for restoring full service to all areas. Residents in Rivermines, Esther, and Elvins should now have water flowing to their homes, marking significant progress in the restoration efforts.

Despite these positive developments, challenges remain. The central part of the city is still likely without water, as the tanks continue to fill and pressure builds in the system. We ask that those of you with water please continue efforts to conserve water, only using it for essential purposes.

Throughout this process, the water department is committed to transparency and communication. They continue to monitor the situation closely and promise to provide updates as new information becomes available. Residents are encouraged to stay informed and patient as the city works towards full restoration of this essential service.

URGENT WATER CONSERVATION NOTICE - CITY OF PARK HILLS

Residents are hereby notified to immediately cease water usage until further notice. Our city water towers are currently in the process of refilling, and continued water consumption will significantly impair and delay this essential process.

What This Means
- All non-essential water use should be suspended
- Please refrain from running faucets, showers, washing machines, and dishwashers
- Conserving water now will help restore normal service more quickly

Next Steps
The City will issue a follow-up notification once the water system is fully operational and safe to resume normal usage. We appreciate your immediate cooperation in this matter.

For emergencies only, please contact City Hall at 573-431-3577.
