On Saturday, Nov. 1, the Paris High School boys’ cross country team competed at the sectional meet at Lake Land College in Mattoon.
Less than 100 meters from the start line, a runner fell in the middle of the crowded field, causing a chain reaction that sent multiple athletes tumbling to the ground. Among those caught in the pileup were Paris juniors Gage White and Grayson Craffets.
