Hazardous cold arrives next week!

- There is *slightly* more confidence in precipitation chances next week, but uncertainty on the if/when/where is still high.

We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of a beloved member of our Paris High School family, Randall Lewis. We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Lewis during this difficult time.

Coach Lewis was an integral member of our staff at Paris High School, having been a valued member of the Wildcat family for 23 years. His contributions to the school and community have been immense, and he will be truly missed by his students, colleagues, and community.

The greatest way to honor Mr. Lewis' life is to remember him for who he was: a dedicated teacher, a passionate coach, a devoted mentor, and an incredible colleague and friend. Through his unwavering commitment to education, he truly transformed many lives for the better.

Please be assured that the district is dedicated to ensuring support systems are in place in the days ahead for our students, staff, and community. Our counselors and staff will be available for any students who may need support during this time.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas the morning of 01/11/2025.

The potential for freezing fog will continue through the morning
hours mainly along and north of I-20. The combination of freezing fog and the refreezing of liquid on the ground will make for a
hazardous morning commute Saturday morning.

Please exercise caution if must travel this morning. There are many roads have frozen over with ice since beginning to thaw yesterday. Visibility with fog may impact the ability to see while driving.
