In this difficult year, every person has a life that's been disrupted. And not just a little. I mean DISRUPTED. You've lost a job, maybe a business. And for some, heartbreakingly, a loved one. Pick your circumstance, but every one of us has a right to feel hurt, angry, betrayed, or just plain overwhelmed today.

2021 will be a year of for every American. And as we go through this next chapter, we can choose how to enter into it. You can feel punished (justifiably maybe), or you can feel grateful. For this current 'season of learning'. I believe grateful is a better place to figure it out from. Grateful is a better starting point. "Punished" fills me with a different set of emotions. Anger (no, Rage). Frustration. Hurt. I can't or or from that place.

I choose . And I'll start by thanking the United States Congress for approving the latest economic stimulus package that will help me and so many other small business owners survive this next quarter of little to no sales revenue for the hard hit industry. It's not enough, . So you'll continue to hear from me.

But today, I simply say .
