Hello everyone! A busy day here at the shop...but I am always looking for a better way to get the job done. With the guitar repairs, I might need to sand...cut...polish, or any of the other many things I use a Dremel for. Trying to hold it in your hand and be careful while doing detailed work can get you nuts....so, I came up with an attachment to my workbench (attached to a piece of wood that screws on and off). #2, Shows a clamp-on mount that holds the Dremel tight....this way I can hold the work in two hands, if needed, and not worry about the tool jumping and damaging an instrument. #3. While creating a thin shim...just enough hand pressure so it dosen't crack into many pieces. #4. As a bonus, it has two top attachments...the Dremel holder and a larger vice clamp with rubber on the clamping sections (just right for holding a Fender neck sideways when doing sharp fret ends)....and the attachment can swivel 360 degrees, so I can position it at any angle! Thanks for stopping by....enjoy the rest of your day!
