Today, I was treated to a penthouse view from the rooftop of the historic E&B Brewery building, a mix of apartments and commercial space. There were many fun photo opportunities and stories that made my afternoon enjoyable. Later, I imagined how each of my friends would outfit or entertain here. Life is good!

This Portland visit is a mix of business & pleasure.

I have one more day working with my client, someone I’ve supported for more than a decade, in person and remotely. Yesterday (in person) I helped him purchase a new computer, iPad and printer.

The goal was to install his new equipment & move his old computer & printer to a new location. Accomplished!

Today will be spent tweaking his system and resolving his technology questions.

In between this project I have toasted my hosts & visited Portland friends

Tomorrow afternoon I’ll jump on the train to see more friends in Salem Oregon til Sunday.

Finally I’ll hop Amtrak to Washington State & the Whidbey Camano Land Trust property to see my daughter for 9 days.❣️

The activity director is hoping to involve the residents in more activities to get them out of their apartments and engaging in their community.

The newsletter includes recent Tai Chi classes, bean recipe roundup, a baby photo contest and a puzzling invitation for a game afternoon, among other ideas.
