MassDOT Advisory: Lee and Becket
Overnight Guardrail Repair Operations on I-90 Westbound
Overnight hour work Tuesday, April 19, through Friday morning, April 22
Lane closures will be in place; travel allowed through work zone
LEE/BECKET – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight guardrail repair operations on I-90 westbound from mile marker 18.0 to mile marker 7.6 in Lee and Becket. The work will be conducted nightly from Tuesday, April 19, through Friday, April 22, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The work is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, April 22.

The work will require temporary lane closures to allow crews to safely and efficiently conduct guardrail repair operations.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

Hampshire Regional High School’s Musical Theatre program makes its much anticipated return to the stage with its upcoming production of Jane Eyre the musical. Jane Eyre is a Tony Award-nominated musical depicting Charlotte Brontë’s haunting and mysterious gothic romance, with Music and Lyrics by Paul Gordon, and the Book and additional Lyrics by John Caird.
Myka Plunkett returns to direct her 6th production with HRHS with Lauren Bell as music director. The dates of the performances are March 31, April 1, and April 2 at 7 p.m. and April 3 at 2 p.m. All performances will take place in the Hampshire Regional High School auditorium.

The performance includes cast and crew from Westhampton, Southampton, Goshen, Chesterfield, Williamsburg and Worthington. Additionally, in an effort to provide performing arts opportunities to more children, after two years with limited options, the cast will include a children’s chorus from the elementary schools of the Hampshire Regional School District.

More than 40 students will be accompanied once again by a talented live pit orchestra conducted by Rebecca Phelps.
