Hand polishing the 2.8 24v Forged crank journals, first round with 2000 grit and going all the way up to 3500. Even with just 2000 and light pressure you can immediately feel the difference across the surfaces. I’m doing this to prep the surface the main and rod bearings are going to be spinning on and want the smoothest movement as possible in my Billet @teamhst block.
All this talk about Map 1’s & “low boost” in the racing community. Trolls saying I haven’t posted any dragy slips with the current cast iron VR6 setup. ..Well, Here’s my Map 1 , street cruising file @ 38psi of boost, conservative timing, pump E85 @ 5051ft DA, 90 degrees ambient, 2300 elevation. Essentially my lowest settings. ..I have a total of 6 maps, and kill mode with methanol sprinkled in is Map 6. Tuning by @fourstrokesperformance on @syvecs_ltd ECU ..
Such a quiet and deep purr from this R30 VR6 Motor, still need to fill up on some 🌽 and get @fourstrokesperformance behind the @syvecs_ltd keyboard to throw some more Feta into the mix 🚀
Both 3.2 VR6 cylinder heads I bought last week arrived few days later on Friday. Going to drop them off to get hot tanked and cleaned so the heads are oil free when I weld the coolant ports shut. I bought two in case I mess one up welding cast aluminum. ..Side note, vRS3 has been patiently waiting for some full send passes, now with the billet block underway I think I’ll try my best to max out this G42-1450 G series Turbo and maybe add a little @nitrousexpress for some fun.

HST is well known in the Euro car community for going 7.5et in an OEM body TT powered by a OEM cast iron VR6 block for years, and now with a billet version of the 3.2 VR6 and a tube chassis for optimal performance and safety they have gone light years beyond that taking their shop car into the mid 6 second range. 🤌🚀
Someone come save @stav_built , his ears can’t handle the Wookiee symphony 🎶🚀..Some fuel experiments to be noted, this round we opted for Ignite red E90 + a splash of pure M1 Methanol right in the tank. We think the setup really likes it and also helps us throw more timing at the car successfully. However making more power and boost than before and revving out to 8500 we are seeing intake temps rise so it’s time for an intercooler core upgrade as the @treadstoneperformance 1300hp unit is at its limits. I think we just woke up half of LA again here on @turbojoetuned ‘s dyno. The Wookiee infused Audi RS3 pumping out more power with less boost thanks to our Syvecs Whisperer @s_jacobs89 over at @fourstrokesperformance . A few leaky China fuel fittings aside, Now with launch control working and making more power, it’s time to start developing launch control strategies and see what she can do in the 1/4 and half mile.
So, Launch control works and blew out the microphone on this iPhone 15 pro max 😂🔥Time to setup a Dyno day and get the new fueling setup calibrated with @fourstrokesperformance 🌶️
And just like that she fires right up with the ID2600’s thanks to @s_jacobs89 over at @fourstrokesperformance at the SYVECS keyboard. That Turbo Howl is soooo satisfying 🎶..Couple small coolant leaks we have to sort out, but over all she’s running again with the new fuel injector & exhaust setup.
