Do something special for yourself. While helping others, make time to do the things that make you feel happy and fulfilled also. About 3 months ago I decided to pick the bass back up and become a serious student of it as I've always loved the bass.

I'm happy with the progress I've made so far teaching myself how to play bass. I'm learning as I go along the way.

Although I'm no Larry Graham, I am taking joy in just doing something that makes me happy and learning a new skill. I can already play pretty much any song but only by reading music...not an ear player yet but it's coming. I'm just happy with the progress that I've made this far. I can't put this bass down now...I'm hooked! 😃❤️

It was a pleasure to have a face-to-face Zoom conversation with Mr. Louis Gossett Jr. about his incredible film career. It was a great honor to be among the final interviews of his life and to feature him on the cover of The Indie Post Magazine.

I am deeply grateful to Mr. Louis Gossett Jr. for sharing his life stories and imparting wise words to me. I will always remember what he told me. It is with great sadness that I heard of his passing. Louis Gossett Jr. was an amazing man and the first Black man to win a Supporting Actor Oscar. I salute him and his legacy. I would like to express my gratitude to my brother, Michael Neely, for arranging the interview and to my wonderful sister Miriam Nubnqueen Graham for supporting me throughout and going to bat for me for this historic interview. This is a momentous occasion, and I will never forget it. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Gossett family and all those who loved him. May God bring comfort and peace during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Mr. Louis Gossett Jr.
