The Artlands Creative is a nonprofit organization formed to enhance the quality of life in the desert and inland areas of Southern California by creating direct connectivity from the artist to the public through exhibitions, creative projects, and public art activations. Our Story:
Artlands Coachella Valley, formerly The Coachella Valley Art Scene, started as a blog in 2008 by Sarah Scheide

man after she returned home from college and saw a void in her community that she wanted to fulfill. After five years of blogging and events, The CVAS opened the doors to their first art gallery for a more tangible experience. In September of 2014, The Coachella Valley Art Scene officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. In 2022, The Coachella Valley Art Scene joined forces with The Artlands, to create a nonprofit organization providing opportunities and resources for emerging artists from the Coachella Valley, Inland Empire, and high desert areas of Southern California.
