This was a Micro-Doc we produced, Shot and Edited. I was one of very few to sail on this Maui Built Ocean Voyaging Canoe, the Mo'okiha O Pi'ilani. It was definitely a spiritual voyage sailing and watching the crew handle the wind and sea.
The film premiered at the Patagonia Film Festival.

A short documentary we produced, shot, and edited. On September 13th, 2016, the torrential rain of a lifetime caused widespread damage to Iao Valley, as it rerouted the Wailuku River. When the Wailuku Water Company began aggressively rerouting the river back to their diversion intake, three brave women stepped in to stop the diggers. The documentary short, E Ala E (Rise up/Awaken) - Wailuku River travels up the river to tell their story.
