Theater students at Matanzas High School will present Shakespeare's ROMEO + JULIET in the Pirate Theater on February 20-22 at 7pm and with a matinee on February 22 at 2pm. This production began its life as a classroom project where students were asked to adapt a scene from this famous play in a time period and setting of their own choosing--and after a class vote, they decided to adapt the entire play to take place in 1960's Mississippi--with rockabilly music and Shakespearean language with a southern accent!

Beautify Bunnell! The annual trash cleanup effort was led by city staff on Jan. 26. Mayor Catherine Robinson spoke first at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and then volunteers picked up more than 30 garbage bags of trash. Business sponsor was PC Construction, which is also building the city’s new wastewater treatment plant.

Sandra Shank, on a path to affordable housing that many might not know about … (Interview on WNZF’s “Free For All Friday”). Shank is on the Palm Coast planning board and the Flagler County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
