Devastating for buyers and buyers’ agents. Actually bad for sellers and listing agents too.

1. Buyers will now risk paying 2-3% more closing costs? They will lose motivated agents who are eager to help.

2. Buyer agents will have little interest scouring the MLS or touring listings for homes that suit client needs as they have no solid expectation of being paid for their effort?

3. Sellers and their listing agents will not see motivated buyer agents taking clients to their listings when no “cooperative” compensation is offered. Their homes will get less effective exposure.

You’re going to see many unprotected buyers yearning for representation when they think a listing agent (with a fiduciary duty to his/her seller) will treat all parties equally.

Thank you big government for making home buying equivalent to used car sales.

New rules will take effect that overhaul the way real estate agents get paid to help people buy and sell homes.

Well our genius commissioners (at least one anyway) are ready to continue the personal seek-and-destroy mission against some of Nye’s greatest human resources. At least Cox and any other thin-skinned officials want to consolidate power within the DA’s office. Did any of you vote to make our district attorney the unilateral, all powerful control center of Nye County? I don’t recall doing that. I don’t need to be a king’s subject.

We can't keep the blinders on and think we don't have a major homeless and vagrancy problem in Pahrump. Post-pandemic we have seen increased lawlessness, emboldened criminals, and an influx of new homeless people. While our intentions are good in Nye, we CANNOT be a magnet for vagrancy and homelessness.

Homelessness and vagrancy in Pahrump has boiled over into a public safety crisis. Daily stabbings and a homicide yesterday are just the latest in what has been a festering problem no one has wanted...

I encourage all Nye County citizens to watch the June 4th commissioners meeting. Start at the 4 hour and 4 min mark. This picks up after about an hour’s worth of closed session shadiness. If you’re ok with the persecution Trump has been undergoing, I’m sure you’ll cheer hardily for Commissioners Cox, Boskovich, and Jabbour. But if political theater, kangaroo courts, and power-hungry vindictive elected officials AREN’T your cups of tea, join me in my irritation and anger. Better yet, stay tuned to join me in doing something about it.

Attached you'll see our slate of rated candidates. Keep in mind, we screen candidates and rate them. We DO NOT endorse candidates.

The candidates who participated in our process and gave thoughtful responses and surveys deserve your thoughtful consideration when heading to the polls. Our evaluation was based on a pretty in-depth questionnaire that asked questions about the candidates' views on social, economic, cultural, and constitutional issues that matter to conservatives. Thank you candidates.
