Today's spotlight is on Lauren and her sweet family! This extended family was gathering together during November last year and we worked around 7 other sessions to fit hers in.

I love working with families! The photos we capture are memories that can be passed down for many generations.

Chihuly glass at this beautiful estate was an enchanting visual when you arrive at the entrance. I can't imagine the hours that were spent on this tower.

Once inside, you are guided to the right, passing a stunning glass ceiling, into the expansive dining hall. I could almost envision the ladies and gentlemen in all their fine dining glory. Downton Abbey came to mind while I listened to the tour guide regale her stories of dinners and visiting dignitaries.

From the dining hall, we ventured into a sitting room with piano. The highlight, though, for me was the library. I felt like Belle walking into Beasts' library.

The Biltmore in Asheville, NC was one of the highlights of last year for us.

I took hundreds of photos of the grounds and could have spent days exploring everything. Seeing it for the first time was everything I hoped it would have been. I'll be posting several more photos this week from our trip. :)

The Greenway Trail in Paducah is a beautiful location for all kinds of photos. The Halligan's chose this spot last fall to capture their family photos.

Many laughs were shared as we made our way along the beautiful trail and bike path.

Today's spotlight belongs to Sam! Sam is graduating in May this year and one of the many seniors I worked with last fall.

This session was so much fun! We divided 90 minutes between two locations, a creek and downtown Paducah. Even though the water was a bit chilly in mid-October, Sam was a champ at handling the cooler temperature. I loved capturing these!

My first session of 2024 was Jane's on January 3 for Paducah Life Magazine. Jane is the owner of Jane's Journey's and loves to help others with travel plans!

Happy New Year's Eve everyone!

I can't believe how quickly this year has flown. 2024 will go down as one of my most successful years since going full time in 2021. I have photographed 167 different sessions including 7 weddings, 24 families and 19 seniors.

My busiest season is always between August and the end of December, and this year was no different. Three of my weddings were back to back in September, and I still managed to deliver all wedding galleries in under a month of their wedding date.

In July of this year, my family was able to take a much needed vacation. We were able to visit a place that I have wanted to see for 20 years. The Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina far exceeded all of my expectations. My boys even loved the experience!

I look forward to posting my photos from this year, and will be striving to make one new post every day in January. Working with 167 clients in 12 months is truly amazing and humbling. I am so happy to be working with Paducah Life Magazine and have recently signed a contract to also work with Paducah Neighbors magazine. I love working with the people of Paducah and our surrounding areas.

Hi everyone!

The last 5 months have flown by for me, and I realized that I have not been posting as much of my work. As things slow down a little during the winter months I will be posting my sessions from the end of August through now.

So, if I have worked with you and you haven’t been seeing posts, please feel free to reach out! I’ll be spending the next several weeks making posts.

There are a few moments in a photographer's career that are as warm and fun as sessions like this one. Connie and Billy (also known as aunt Connie and uncle Billy to me 🥰) are celebrating a milestone in life. Not many couples can celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary nowadays, but that's not the case for them.
