Inland Rivers HR/Heartland HR, the premier human resources outsourcing company has a part-time opportunity for a HRBP in Paducah, KY. This position is responsible for the delivery of value-added services to clients that reflect the client company’s business goals and objectives. The HRBP supports client initiatives such as implementations of HR software systems (Payroll, recruiting, benefits, etc.), performance management systems, safety & training, and other client initiatives.
Essential Duties:
• Acts as a liaison between Client’s and the company.
• Collaborates with client and company to develop policies, programs, and solutions to client problems.
• Evaluates issues and identifies patterns and trends to provide proactive insights to HR solutions and assists in designing solutions to address client needs.
• Designs, develops, and delivers training programs on various HR topics.
• Analyzes employee data to determine trends and obtain metrics for clients to use in making informed HR decisions.
• Collaborates with the Human Resources Account Manager (HRAM) in conducting and compiling investigative reports for clients.
• Assists clients in mediating and resolving employee relations issues.
• Coordinates and participates in recruitment campaigns; job fairs; college relations programs; general networking; etc. to ensure robust candidate pipeline.
• Assists with maintaining regulatory compliance and legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day operation of Client businesses.
• Processes payroll and assists with benefit administration for client companies.
• Assist with unemployment, workman’s comp., Jones Act, and Longshore Act injury claims.
• Remains current on trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to compete in a competitive job market across industries.
• Leverages on-line recruiting resources; employee referrals; network referrals; etc. to identify and recruit “best in class” talent to identify and source qualified candidates.
• Facilitates the process of candidate selection; interviewing; job offer; background check; and candidate on-boarding details.
• Supports and coordinate client cyclical process to include performance management; merit increases and bonus payout; certification renewals, benefits open-enrollment; etc.
• Performs other related duties as requested.
Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in business, communications, or related field required
• Previous experience in human resources, professional development and training, or employee relations a plus
• PHR certification desired.
• Working knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including workers’ compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
