I must be insane… 6 hours 35 nautical miles roundtrip snapper hunting and nothing to show for it except for an absolutely gorgeous day out on the bay, a sunburn and 2 underslot fish caught 150 yards from the boat ramp 😂
but I’d do it again ever day if I could in a heartbeat.

Mission ACCOMPLISHED finally…
I have been trying repeatedly to catch a “keeper” Pensacola Bay Red Snapper. Caught plenty of juveniles but I finally managed my first keeper today, FWC even paid me a visit and checked me on it 😂 This fish definitely isn’t anything to brag about but I’ve fought hard to catch one in the Bay so I’m proud my effort finally paid off nonetheless.

When the wife says take me fishing, we go fishing!! No keepers but Snapper was the target and we caught plenty to feed Flipper… I hope he appreciated the free meal. Guess we will try again in October
