* Monthly roundtable meetings with writers to advance the art of writing and to plan activities and events for Oxford Writes.

* Networking events such as gatherings at coffee houses, the Powerhouse Community Arts Center, or local establishments to meet, write, interact, listen to speakers, and further the art of writing and the mission of Oxford Writes.

* Host conferences or workshops each year

in Oxford or other Mississippi locales to advance the art of writing and to have panelists or speakers who present on topics ranging from basic writing skills to fiction, non-fiction, short story, news writing, magazines, blogs, online opportunities, sports writing, poetry, song writing, publishing, and any other aspects of the art form as the board and advisers see fit.
