A lot of green was seen at the Knights of Columbus St. Patrick's Day Dance in Cheshire last Saturday! What a great way to reconnect with a bunch of good folks who enjoyed a wonderful traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, great beer, and lively dancing!

What a great evening we had at the Holy Infant Knights of Columbus Dance! It was the first time they had an event like this in a few years (before COVID), and it was so nice to see people enjoying themselves with good food, friends, and entertainment. We honored our military veterans, played "name that tune" (we have some incredible music trivia people out there), and, of course, enthusiastic dancing to many types of music and genres. What a pleasure to be among a great group of people! My thanks to the Knights and Mike Muttitt (the younger and the older) for help arranging this dance.

What a lovely wedding day for Robert and Cynthia! The ceremony, cocktails, dinner, and dancing were all held at the Memories at Traditions Restaurant in Wallingford and everything turned out wonderful. Great food and dancing was enjoyed by all the generations! A special live performance on acoustic guitar by Cynthia's son dedicated to the bride and groom was one of the highlights of the reception.

What a great day outdoors on the grounds of St. Thomas the Apostle church in Oxford, CT today! We enjoyed traditional picnic and home-made potluck dishes, friendly conversations, fun activities for all ages, as well as good music for listen and dancing. The doughnut eating contest led by Fr. Tom Shepard was the hit of the picnic!

Celebrating with St. Thomas the Apostle Church (Oxford, CT) the retirement of Pastor Fr. Dominic Valla and Sr. Beth Preston. They served 28 years together in this same parish as a pastoral team - probably one of the longest reigns in the state! I was honored to be able to provide the background music and act as MC for this going-away social. Congratulations to both for their service and commitment to St. Thomas!

Another Sock Hop - another great dance party! This time, it was the Middletown Seniors enjoying the wonderful sounds of music of the 50's and early 60's. You can't sit down when this music comes on!

Helped St. Thomas parish celebrate 50 years as a separate parish in Oxford! Loads of good food, socializing, history, comedy, and even some dancing. Congratulations to Fr. Dominic, Sister Beth, and all those who have helped keep the parish alive all these years.

The Sock-Hop is alive and well! Did a fundraiser for the Holy Infant Knights of Columbus council for their Fr. Killeen Scholarship fund and, boy, did they dance! What a great group of guys (and their dancing partners)! Thank you for all those who attended and making it a successful and enjoyable night.

Ein Prosit! Did a fantastic Oktoberfest at a family gathering in Shelton last weekend. Plenty of good (authentic) German dishes, German drink, and German music, which also included a live accordionist (thanks Anita!). With the right atmosphere, everybody has a good time!

Shelton H.S. Class of '81 knows how to rock out! Probably one of my top five most "dancing" reunions I've done in my 30 years of DJing. The entire class of those attending were up on the dance floor for the last hour and a half. Fantastic!
