At one point in my life, I had lost everything I thought defined me.
What I hadn’t lost was my voice.
In 2017, during one of the darkest seasons of my life, writing became a lifeline. Not because it erased the pain, but because it gave me a place to put it. Page by page, I began to make meaning out of what I had survived.
That experience changed the direction of my life and my work.
Today, I’m the editor of Speak Up Against Stigma, an anthology series created to amplify women’s mental health stories with honesty, dignity, and purpose.
As we enter Mental Wellness Month, I’m opening the door for women who feel ready to step into authorship not from open wounds, but from reflection, resilience, and growth.
This opportunity is for women who:
• Believe stories can reduce stigma
• Want to help others feel less alone
• Are ready to share their lived experience with care and intention
There is no financial investment.
Only a willingness to be thoughtful, courageous, and real.
If you’ve ever felt the quiet nudge that your story might matter to someone else, this may be your moment.
