Today, we had the honor of presenting a plaque to Steven Wilson, recognizing his 11 years as editor of Owensboro Living that read, "Thank you for bringing the stories of Owensboro to life and leaving a lasting mark on our community."

As Steven steps down from this role, we reflect on what he leaves behind—a publication that has truly captured the heart and spirit of Owensboro. His dedication to the stories of our town has made an impact that will be felt for years to come.

A decade ago, David G Grinnell joined Tanner+West when we were just beginning to explore the world of video and cinematography. Fast forward to today, and thanks to his talent, drive, and vision, we've become the region's go-to agency for stunning, storytelling-driven video content.

David’s passion for crafting visuals that move and inspire is matched only by his dedication to our team. He’s the kind of leader who always gives 110%, pushing us to be better while making sure every project reflects the heart of our mission.

His work has made people smile, think, and even cry. In fact, there’s a little bit of his story in every video he creates. Beyond his video expertise, David has also expanded his role as a project manager for branding and photography and has successfully produced several high-budget commercials.

Sure, this makes him sound perfect - but don’t ask him to spell or expect a quiet office when he’s around. He has a way of making the whole team burst into laughter. 😂

Tanner+West has created all the branding and graphic design elements for the Owensboro Air Show since 2016. We worked with the awesome crew at Elevate Insurance Agency to create a fresh take on what an insurance company brand can be. The end result is a strong logo paired with great typefaces and a color palette that sets them apart in the market.

In collaboration with the Kentucky Regional Prevention Centers and RiverValley Behavioral Health we crafted the campaign. This initiative aimed to challenge cultural norms and encourage Kentucky’s youth to live substance-free lives.

Central to the campaign was the video we wrote and produced in-house, which supported a website we created where youth the opportunity to take a quiz and create and share their own messages.

The campaign was promoted on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram & Facebook, Youtube, Google Ads and OTT platforms. We also developed a toolkit of graphics and resources each Center was able to use on their on social channels and traditional media as they needed.

The campaign gained over 26 million impressions and continues to grow.

Brooke Arnold of RVBH shared, “We know that the positive does exist out there so it's worth promoting. The campaign does just that - it highlights the fact that the majority of our youth are making positive, responsible decisions and they are certainly worth growing, promoting, celebrating, recognizing, applauding. This campaign helps us grow more of the good we want to see.”
