****Volunteer Highlight****

This is Scott Gurney!
Scott is a volunteer Paramedic at Owego Emergency Squad. Scott lives here in Owego.

He currently works at UHS, in program management for Life-flight operations.

Scott has been in emergency critical care since 1999. A member of OEMS since 2008 and a Paramedic since 2004. He regularly responds to calls, often overnight, while holding down a challenging career!

If you need EMS help, and Scott shows up at your door, you are in GOOD HANDS!

🇺🇸📣Former Village of Owego Mayor John Loftus announced his candidacy for Town of Owego Supervisor today, Jan. 10, at the Baker Fireman’s Fountain in the Courthouse Square, Owego. Loftus is seeking the Republican nomination for the four-year term replacing incumbent Donald Castellucci, who is retiring.

📢🖼Waterman Conservation Education Center Center recently announced it will present Haudenosaunee Portraits and Close Ties, a project that includes paintings by Karen Kucharski. There will be a reception at the center on Dec. 21, from 1-4 p.m., and the exhibit is open to the public until Dec. 31 at the center, located at 403 Hilton Rd. in Apalachin.
