"Stearns Dominates Orono in Small School Football Action

In a matchup of two talented teams, Stearns emerged victorious with a 34-8 win over Orono on Friday, September 27th. The Minutemen totaled an impressive 405 yards, showcasing their offensive prowess.

Stearns led 8-6 at the half, but pulled away in the second half to secure the win. With this victory, Stearns improves to 3-1 on the season, while Orono falls to 2-2.

The Red Riots will look to bounce back next week when they travel to Bucksport on Friday, October 4th. Orono will be hoping to get some of their injured players back in the lineup, and a week of rest and recovery should help them slowly return to full strength.

Congratulations to Stearns on their impressive win! We can't wait to see how these teams continue to battle it out on the gridiron. "

Bangor falls to Lewiston.

Bangor, ME - Friday night, the Bangor Rams played host to the Blue Devils of Lewiston High School in a hard-fought Class A Football matchup despite the effort of the Rams, they would fall short on a last-second field goal to be on the 10-7 loss

The Rams would score their only touchdown late in the first quarter to give them the early 7-0 lead over the Blue Devils. However, the Blue Devils would answer right back and tie it up 7-7 throughout the rest of the first half and into the second half, and with 9 seconds left, the Blue Devils would march the ball down the field to connect on a 25-yard field goal to give the Blue Devils the victory.
