We started out many years ago, as a group of people wanting to expose Gurus. We published a free magazine that went viral. Many left and we formed a new staff of writers, and we published a second issue of our magazine, which exposed Teal Swan. Interested in expanding our education on cults, and under the guidance of cult and legal experts, we wanted to make a serious impact by the third issue. We produced an issue on “The Peoples Temple” that provided in depth interviews and academics were involved as well as survivors. That issue got a 5 star review from a leading court certified cult expert, Dr. Cathleen Mann. Our current issue is very different and highlights advocacy and education and we use this page to highlight the work and writings of past contributors. Meaning, basically everyone who writes for the magazine, gets this platform to highlight anything and everything they do for now on. So we can do our part and keep an active interest in our past contributors. This is why you will read articles on here by the same people, because they were part of the magazine “Ethics and The Modern Guru.”
On occasion we break mold and will re publish an event or one of our podcasts. Or an article we find so important we post it on all our pages.
