One of my favorite things in Vancouver is watching the seaplanes take off and land. Although tourist go on these planes they are actually how locals can get quickly from Vancouver to the surrounding islands. I’m crazy about these planes and you can be sure there are a lot more seaplane photos coming your way!

World famous number 7 at Pebble Beach. Had this vision of jagged cliffs and waves smashing into the rocks
🌊 I used my drone at sunset just after the sun went down. In order to make the waves blur together I wanted to make a long exposure. I even used an ND filter to cut the light further. The X factor is could the drone stay steady enough to get the long exposure I needed
🚁 I started with a 3 second exposure. It looked too blurry. I made some adjustments and ended up around a 1 second exposure. There are still some soft areas in the photo but I think it came out pretty good.
📷 I’m not sure the quality is good enough to print but I will try. Let me know what you think.

Last minute call to sail away on the new Disney Wish cruise ship. It was the christening voyage. 🍾. I was worried I would hate being captive on a ship for 4 days. But much to my surprise I actually enjoyed it. 🏝. It was a lot of work but we had enough down time to actually enjoy some of the ship, including a day at the private island Castaway Cay. Where I got to snorkel for about an hour in some of clearest blue water you can imagine. 🤿. And while the Disney Wish might be a little tame for my personal taste I have to admit it was fun.
