But we still react almost always the same way.

The 2024 Olympics are over. Sports fans had a blast.

Young athletes who have not won a gold medal will work on their craft to improve in preparation for LA 2028.

Gold medals are for the best, not for the mediocre, nor for the amateurs!

But beyond sports, certain political lessons can be learned from the Olympic Games, such as political stability, transparency of public service, national pride, and the prestige of winning a gold medal.

A country must win, not just show up to show up to a game/Olympics/World Cup, etc....

Finally, although the athletes come from different teams nationally and are sometimes rivals, when it comes to defending their country internationally; they become ONE.
Haitians have a lot to learn in this regard...

Knowing that 3 years later no one has been punished, which is normal in Haiti, what fate is reserved for the future Haitian president after the departure of Garry Conille and the CPT?

Can the new president count on the State and the Haitian police to ensure his security?

Better yet, should he bring his own security team? If so, what would be the implications?

I love this quote below from Tony Robbins.
One of the things that the Haitian community lacks is the fact that they don't like to ask questions.
Better yet, they don't like to ask good questions when they do.
We are too emotional and with our emotions, we are irrational.
As a result, we never seek the right answers to our problems.
We need to change our mindset to change the way we live.

I am worried, disturbed, and frustrated.

Gangs in Haiti are a group of tugs who can only take advantage of the vulnerable and unarmed.
Otherwise, why didn't they stand firm against the coordinated attack launched to capture General Hospital?
Yet, can they do anything?
Could our police force, without the Kenyans, do anything to reclaim the general hospital?
Why do we have to rely on others to clean up our own messes?
What will happen when the Kenyans leave?
Don't tell me I'm impatient or that it's still early.
I've already seen it all!

Je suis inquiet, perturbé, et frustré.

Les gangs en Haïti sont un groupe de remorqueurs et laches qui ne peuvent profiter que des personnes vulnérables et non armées.
Sinon, pourquoi n’ont-ils pas tenu bon face à l’attaque coordonnée lancée pour capturer l’Hôpital Général ?
Mais peuvent-ils vraiment faire quelque chose ?
Nos forces de police, sans les Kenyans, pourraient-elles faire quelque chose pour récupérer l'hôpital général ?
Pourquoi devons-nous compter sur les autres pour nettoyer nos propres dégâts ?
Que se passera-t-il lorsque les Kenyans partiront ?
Ne me dites pas que je suis impatient ou qu'il est encore tôt.
J'ai déjà tout vu !
