CRC Music International’s Chris Robinson will have the honor of being one of the one hundred playwrights selected by the Roof Top Writers Initiative to attend a special performance of Sondheim and Furth’s Broadway revival “Merrily We Roll Along,” which includes a talk-back with the cast!

Robinson wrote and directed his first play in fifth grade, leading to writing his first musical in sixth grade that received mini workshops at two junior high schools in Louisiana prior to being accepted into the New Orleans Creative Arts Academy. His first full-length musical continues in development since its series of workshops in 2018.

Additionally, Robinson has helped other theatre/film writers and schools of various grade levels bring their original works to life primarily through music arrangements, songwriting, and orchestrations or reimagined works of Broadway composers. This also includes having worked with the Dramatists Guild of New York as a script reviewer for a series of musical theatre works from passionate writers of various ages, inspiring playwrights of the next generation!

Our very own Christopher Robinson has been part of the new children’s series (“Mishaps with Mark”) as a songwriter since being brought on to further develop the work during his time as a student at Full Sail University. We look forward to bringing the Mishaps to more young audiences soon! 🎭

'tore the audience apart' at the annual Orlando Fringe Festival premiere in Orlando Florida, based on the 2003 film ‘The Room’! The orchestrations were written and recorded by CRC Music International 's very own Christopher Robinson with Music & Lyrics by Alex Syiek and Book + Additional Lyrics by Bryan Jager.

While this title is currently unavailable for licensing, we look forward to sharing exclusive instrumental preview recordings from the 2021 revival production soon!

MUSIC REIMAGINED SERIES: (In celebration of the late Stephen Sondheim) One of the most special musical works we've had the pleasure and honor of taking on with orchestrator and arranger Christopher Robinson being given the opportunity from the director of the Hill School Arts department (Chris McGriff) and the blessing of Stephen Sondheim to reimagine the complete score of "INTO THE WOODS" with a complete twist to the show's score for the new theatre generation - exclusively presented May 2021 through the Hill School Theatre department under the direction of Chris McGriff with Academy Award-winning actress Meryl Streep voicing "The Giant's Wife". This production was even more of a celebration for the students post-pandemic with live theatre making a comeback!
