*Life update* - Why I was missing for the last month

Firstly, to those of you who reached out and checked in with me during my absence, I was touched by that. Thank you!

December/January was an incredibly stressful time for me with how the war in Sudan has affected me personally, and a bereavement as well as the workload in the office getting a little out of hand (real talk, entrepreneurship can have some hard days).

I ended up in ER because I thought I was having left arm pains, chest pressure and palpitations thinking I was having a heart attack.. Thankfully it wasn't. It was just a result of me being very stressed, having too much caffeine and not enough water.

Samar and I ended up spending new year's at hospital, and of course we were being total menaces. 😂

So I didn't get to wish you all a happy new year, so here it is. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Here's to better self-care in 2024. Don't end up like I did folks.

One of the best things about being a mom is watching your children develop into independent adults. So I was super excited to fly out to Chicago and get a front row seat to watch Samar's Jazz performance at college.

And Samar made sure to keep me totally in the dark when it came to her performance so that was obviously fun. 😳😂
