Turns out classical music is the most hated genre of music now due to generational change, seems like. Years ago, I would go to see the National Symphony often, especially when they played Beethoven or had a guest like Anne-Sophie Mutter.

In my opinion, the orchestra is like the church (generalization) in that most have not modernized with the times. Like where is the electric guitar section, where are the conga players, the bass synth player and the DJ conducting?

Ok, they'll play those tired old band marches from the 1900s. No offense intended. I like some of those marches...

The subjective nature of music is what makes it so beautiful. Love or hate a genre, you're right and wrong, but what is the most disliked?

"Hold Me," my Newest Release on YouTube is an ALBUM COVER video.

The reason why I chose this instead of making an action video is because I don't want to show devastation to go along with the saddest song I've ever written. Also, I don't want pictures to distract from the music and/or give listeners the wrong idea.

Honesty - I believe it's important in music creation. I have used A.I. video segments by one particular artist, Adis Resic from pixabay, for "Warriors" and a few other short segments more recently, like the "window" on "Wuthering Heights" and that's about it. 😊

In accordance with the email below, because I believe this is the way to go, if I use AI on a Video or use it for music creation, it will be clearly labeled as such. This is so anyone listening or purchasing will know if AI was used for either the video or the music. 💯

I have never used Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the creation of my music. 👎

In fact, I'm so conceited, apparently. I think I can play/compose more interesting actual music than Artificial Intelligence can come up with and I'm ready to take that challenge.

Each of us has our own computer, called our brain. The challenge of music creation for an individual is finding all the little pieces of music from our past that were meaningful or nostalgic and putting the puzzle together to create our song. We believe in the song since it was all the stuff that meant something to us that we've blended into something new and special.

I'm sorry, a computer may be able to write a better song, but I won't believe in it as much.

Yesterday, I wrote something of a rant called The Mess that Is. With a bit of distance and a bit of clarity, I thought I would write a less ranty follow-up. I also wanted to bring up some issues coming to to the forefront of my mind since yesterday.

WUTHERING HEIGHTS - NEW RELEASE

It's been a really fun 😎 year, everyone (and it's not over yet). I get a great amount of enjoyment knowing that sometimes someone may stumble upon one of my songs and actually enjoy it. I'm here to promote my new song but also to thank my many for coming on board with me this year.

Lots of good things are happening for Ataraxia Music and I have only to thank all of you for that, so thank you.

Many people on Facebook don't really know me or my music at all. I try to work hard on this stuff, but I'm still learning how to improve my music. Also, I wouldn't say I'm great at marketing (never was, getting better...) and I don't post near as much as some of my music colleagues (and I hate bothering people).

I think my song WARRIORS is my best music so far and yet some of you may think WARRIORS or this song is totally lame. That's fine. I understand. I'm not ILLENIUM.

Just know I only want to entertain and have fun with my music, but at the same time, I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't have something to say. This is real music for real people, Music with a Conscious. No Artificial Intelligence is used to create Ataraxia Music songs and instrumentals. No harm was ever intended and there is only love here. ❤️ Serious!

All I can say is thank you for being here and thank you for trying my music. I realize it's sometimes hard to say to yourself, I'm going to go listen to that. It's also hard to find people who like anything other than hip hop or rock. Moving on...

Been trying to post here for days but couldn't!!! I didn't find any suspension notice, or anything like that.

Anyway, if you can see this...

My new song 'The Guardian' is out on major platforms where you can hear music. Some of my music posts out there on some of these platforms don't have the fidelity to play my music properly and I'm looking into ways to capture the sounds in my music more authentically. Also, look for better mixes and tools... just completed another mixing course.

My music life of learning has happened over the internet for the last few years. You can hear my progress in the tunes I release and while I'm far from perfect, most of my compositions have interesting elements. With my new tools (and skills), it can only get better and I'm not likely to stop anytime soon.

I realize I lost a lot of listeners over the past few weeks, but that's ok. If I can make a few people happy with my music, that's all I need to keep going, so thanks so much to my music friends and followers.
