The original Bay Lake Tower rooms (pictured) just did so much more for me than the new refurbed versions. They were open and didn't have the cookie cutter aspect of all the new DVC rooms with the identical pull down murphy bed on the wall. Yes a refurb was overdue. Yes the furniture needed replacing. What they did wasn't up to past standards though. Still, the Contemporary and Bay Lake Tower hold me as my favorite on Disney Property. Perhaps the next refurbishment, under different management, will be better. Time will tell.
