Halley is a single mom of two kids. She had her own business and last year. When she started to have some serious health issues that were causing her a lot of problems causing her to not be able to work. She had to shut down her dream. She was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, found out she had multiple ruptured disc in her neck and lower back. The pain she is constantly in and from my lower back has made it hard to even carry out daily task. Severity of multiple disc in her lower back. She has to go in for back surgery on January 8 last year has weighed heavy on her and her kids. She's missed out on a lot because she can't travel very far or able to do a whole lot. She is still waiting on Social Security for disability they say recovery on her surgery will be 6 to 8 weeks and she will have to do physical therapy for that and continued physical therapy for fibromyalgia, neck, and hopefully the surgery will help with her lower back and she can get back to being the hands-on mom, she used to be. It’s taking a mental toll on her because she doesn't feel like a good mom anymore. Her kids struggle because she can’t provide the way that she used to and her limitations have limited from being there for them. She has a long road ahead of her. She has been doing it all on her own and just wants to be back to the Mom that she was.

How would you describe your style? Timeless, Classic and Elegant
What kind of session’s to you offer? Toddlers, Kids, Teens, Senior's, Adults, Family, Maternity, Couples. Each of these session's are custom to you're needs. I would love to sit and talk about the style you envision. I will help with the whole process. I want every session to be relaxing and stress free. People don't know what to do in front of the camera. I am here to style and pose in a way you will cherish and love forever. I want all my clients to walk away from the session with a stunning heirloom piece of art work. I hope you and your family will pass down from generation to generation. I am a full service photography studio. I offer custom books, canvases, heirloom keepsake boxes and more. My clients appreciate not having to do any work after the portraits are taken. I want your portraits to reflect a true since of timeless essence.
What is a couture session?
A couture session is a fun day for little girl's to play dress up. I have verity of dresses, crowns, headpieces for them to choose from. I normally purchase fresh flowers just for their session. It's a time to play and have fun. Couture sessions are meant to be cherished for ever and passed down to their kids and grandchildren. I want to create a piece of art work that is custom and no other girl will have. Each session is detailed edited and when printed on a canvas look more like a painting than a picture.
What ages are best for couture sessions?
I recommend 1 year to any age. This can be a fun event for mom's, families, sisters or siblings. First communion, a special birthday, or just to highlight them for no reason. Couture sessions can help girls with low self esteem at the pre teen to teen ages. When you feel awkward and not quite fitting into your skin. It's a day to pamper and make each girl feel beautiful and special.
What should I bring?
Anything lacy, frilly or classic, light neutral colors or we can go really dramatic and do black. Nothing to busy, no shoes are required. Anything old you want to incorporate and add that personal touch. Maybe something that has been passed down from great grandma, like a pair of old gloves, hat, scarf anything that is vintage. I do have some dresses to choose from but always recommend bringing something in case you don't like my options. Let’s chat to make sure we are getting the perfect look to fit your style and home décor.
How should I prepare for a couture session?
For hair I recommend soft light curls, soft makeup, just a little lip gloss, blush and mascara. Make sure nail polish is light and not chipped. If you or you're child is sun burnt please reschedule until it calms down. Make sure if you have little ones not to schedule around nap time. Make sure they not hungry (we all know a hungry child is not a happy camper) If your child is not feeling well we should pick another day.
Can I add hair and makeup to a couture session?
Yes of course I will set all this up for you. I want you to look and feel your best. Plus who doesn't want to be pampered for their portrait session.
What happens after my couture session?
About two weeks after the session I will have you come in for a personal reveal. This is when you will purchase your pieces of art work. We offer Heirloom boxes, Canvas, wood prints digitals packages. There is no minimum purchase so you can purchase just what you love. Please make sure anyone who want's to order is at this appointment. If they are unable to make it we can reschedule for a different time. If you need a second reveal their is $50 fee to comeback. If you have family members out of town. I will put photo's online for them to purchase once you have placed your order.
Some other recommendations for couture shoots. Sometimes it's best if mom or dad are not watching. Being a mother myself I know my kids listen to others better. So if I can just have their attention I seem to get the best results. You can always be in the same room I have a seating area that you can watch from. That way the children don't feel any pressure. Couture sessions are not smiley, they are more in the moment or showing true emotions. I will get a couple smiles just because I want you to have a verity of looks.
